Razer SoftMiner

What is Razer SoftMiner?
Razer SoftMiner is the mining reward software that lets you earn Razer Silver when your PC is idle or when you are AFK.
How does Razer SoftMiner work?
When your computer is idle, the Razer SoftMiner desktop application utilizes your idle GPU processing power to supplement distributed network needs for the mining process. You will be rewarded with Razer Silver, which varies depending on the amount of idle time and strength of your hardware or graphics card.
What are the operating systems Razer SoftMiner supports?
Currently, we support Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10.
Which countries is Razer SoftMiner available in?
Great news! This program is available to download and utilize globally.
How do I get started in Razer SoftMiner?
  1. Ensure you are using a high performance laptop or PC with a GPU.
  2. Download Razer SoftMiner here.
  3. Create a Razer ID account and sign into the application. (You will need a Razer ID account to run Razer SoftMiner.)
  4. Under Settings, switch on Auto Mode. Select this option if you prefer Razer SoftMiner to launch and run automatically. The software conveniently runs in the background and earns you Razer Silver when your computer is idle.
Why should I use Auto Mode in Razer SoftMiner?
Once Auto Mode is activated, if you are using other applications, Razer SoftMiner will be stopped so that your PC will be able to run at its usual speed for you to perform your tasks.
Additionally, Razer SoftMiner will ensure the mining process is not affected when your computer is left idle – it will stop your computer from switching to lock screen mode.
Can I minimize the Razer SoftMiner window while it’s mining?
Definitely! Besides the window, we’ll also be tracking the mining process on your system tray, so you can still monitor the progress easily and conveniently.
When Razer SoftMiner is launched and running, does it have access to the info on my computer?
No. Razer SoftMiner only uses your GPU processing power and has no access to the info on your computer.
Will Razer SoftMiner slow down my PC or laptop?
Razer SoftMiner uses a substantial amount of your GPU power to ensure you get the highest Razer Silver yield possible. Hence, when the application is running, your PC will likely run slower than its usual speed.
I got this error message: “Graphics Device Driver may be too old, please update the driver and run Razer Softminer again”. What should I do?
Depending on your graphic card, you may need to update your driver to a later version in order to run Razer SoftMiner. For more information, please check out the links below based on the brand of your graphic card:
During the setup stage, Razer SoftMiner states that it is undergoing a “benchmarking” process. What does that mean?
We conduct a benchmark test the first time you run Razer SoftMiner to ensure that you will maximize your earnings by joining the most optimal mining pool based on your location and hardware.
My antivirus software reports Razer SoftMiner as a virus. Is Razer SoftMiner a virus?
Razer SoftMiner is not a virus or a malware - we use open source libraries to build Razer SoftMiner.
Do I need to whitelist the Razer SoftMiner App on my PC?
This depends on whether the program is falsely flagged by antivirus, but we recommend doing it just in case. For step-by-step instructions, do check out our guide here on how to whitelist Razer SoftMiner on your system.
When will Razer SoftMiner launch completely to public, with no user limitations?
