What devices are compatible with the Razer Hammerhead for iOS?

The Razer Hammerhead for iOS is compatible with any device that uses an Apple Lightning port.

What are eartips and bi-flanges?

The Razer silicon eartips are designed to fit snugly into your ear to keep music in your ear and at the same time keeping external sound out. Included in the package are eartips in 3 different sizes to ensure that you have the perfect fit for your earphones. Also included are bi-flanged eartips that offer the optimal amount of comfort and sound isolation through an additional silicon flap. A bi-flanged ear-tip creates a second layer of sealing, providing better sound isolation and fit over single-flap eartips.

Can I listen to both my standard stereo headset and my Razer Hammerhead for iOS at the same time?

You will not be able to listen to the same source material through a standard analog audio device and the Razer Hammerhead iOS at the same time. Audio output source will be prioritized based on the latest connection established.

Can I turn off the lighting on the Razer logo?

Yes. The headset’s lighting effects can be adjusted via the Razer Hammerhead app downloadable on the Apple App Store.

Can I use the Razer Hammerhead app with other stereo or lightning headsets?

No. The Razer Hammerhead app will only work with the Razer Hammerhead for iOS. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod and iPad running iOS 8.0 and above.

How can I modify or disassemble my Razer product?

We cannot help you in modifying or disassembling your Razer product since that will void the manufacturer's warranty on the unit.

What else can I do with the Razer Hammerhead app?

You can adjust audio equalizer (EQ) settings, view the master guide, as well as get important firmware updates via the app.

Troubleshooting

How do I clean the earbuds on my headphones?

First, remove any attached silicon tips. Then take a soft cloth that is lightly saturated with warm water and carefully wipe down the earbuds. Be careful not to allow the liquid to penetrate the actual speaker. The silicone tips and cords can be cleaned the same way and allowed to dry before reinstalling.

Why is my Razer Hammerhead for iOS not producing sound?

Make sure that the headset is properly plugged into your device. Also, check if the Razer Hammerhead for iOS is selected as the output source in Control Center within the settings.

How do I replace the worn out or damaged ear cups for my Razer Headset?

If your headset is still in warranty, you may contact customer support to have your ear cups replaced. Prepare a photo of the ear cups for documentation.

However, do note that ear cups that show normal wear from extended use cannot be replaced under warranty. This also applies to ear cups that show signs of excessive dirt, liquid spills, physical damage or other abuse.

If your headset is no longer covered by our warranty period, you may purchase replacement ear cups.
