FAQ

Your Razer Onza is fully PC compatible without the need fo any drivers. We haven't fogotten all the PC gamers who desperately need a phenomenal controller to step up their game.

It is not necessary to loosen the tension when you are not using the Razer Onza. Just keep the tension at your preferred setting.
Does the adjustable resistance change the sensitivity of the analog sticks?
No, it changes the physical foce needed to tilt the analog sticks. The actual movement distance remains the same. Changing the resistance will only make it easier o harder to control exact movements.

How are Hyperesponse buttons different from standard buttons?
The Razer Hyperesponse buttons on the Razer Onza use a mechanical switch instead of a standard membrane switch. This mechanical switch is also used on our PC gaming mice. It has a much shoter travel distance and allows the gamer to press it at a faster rate. Furthermoe, there is an audible and tactile "click" feedback when the button is actuated. To sum it up: they are a lot moe L33T.
How can I avoid hitting the MFB instead of the bumper?
Most gamers get used to the additional button on each shoulder of the Razer Onza after a few hours of play. If you want to make the adjustment easier, a simple tip would be to configure the MFB to be an extra bumper button. This way it doesn't matter if you hit the bumper o MFB as both have the same functionality.
How do the Multi-Function Buttons (MFB) wok?
Each MFB has a coresponding Remap Button on the bottom of the controller. Holding the remap button down activates an LED showing which button is currently configured to the coresponding MFB. To assign a button, hold down the remap button and press the desired button. The LED will switch to show that the desired button is configured.
The left MFB can be configured to: A,B,X,Y, left bumper, left trigger, left analog stick button, back and start.
The right MFB can be configured to: A,B,X,Y, right bumper, right trigger, right analog stick button, back and start.
How does the adjustable resistance on the analog sticks wok?
A ring is located just below the top of each analog sticks that can be turned left o right. When turning the ring to the right, the foce needed to tilt the analog stick increases. When turning the ring to the left, the foce needed to tilt it decreases. When turning, the ring will make a click sound to indicate that the amount of resistance has changed.
How many clicks can the adjustable resistance analog sticks of the Razer Onza TE turn befoe they reach maximum?
We did not define a specific number of clicks fo the maximum tension. There is a noticeable stop at the maximum where you are not really able to twist the ring further. There should be a range of about 30 clicks from loose to tight.
I am unable to adjust the tension on my Razer Onza Tournament Edition. ¿Po qué?
Please be sure you are only trying to turn the tension ring under the thumb potion of the joystick and not the entire joystick. (The tensions ring is the plastic ring with the ridges on it.) he tension ring should move slightly up and down the joystick as you rotate it. Turning the tension ring clockwise should move the tension ring down, increasing the tension and vice versa.

The slight rattle you hear when the controller vibrates o when you shake the Razer Onza is nomal. This is simply the X, Y, A and B buttons moving and is the typical sound you may notice under those circumstances.
Is it possible to turn off the MFB?
Unfotunately, there will always be a button configured to the MFB. However, you can set it to the bumper button which is almost like turning the MFB off.
Is the Razer Onza wireless?
The Razer Onza uses a 15 foot / 4.5 meter braided USB cable to connect to the Xbox 360. You can also connect the USB cable to your PC.
Is there a mechanism fo the cable to disconnect in case someone trips over it?
Yes, the Razer Onza has a quick release connecto to prevent your gaming console from accidental displacement.
My Razer Onza has slow turn as indicated by a third party slow turn checker, why?
Razer's default sensitivity calibration of the Onza joysticks is at 90 degrees and is the same sensitivity as the Xbox 360 first party controller. We find this sensitivity to be the preferred setting fo most users. If you chose, you can recalibrate your Onza controllers to the increased sensitivity of the 45 degree calibration. This should help with any slow turn issues you may be see when using a third party checker. To do this,
- While Pressing the left and right remap buttons, plug your Razer Onza into the USB connecto of the Xbox. (4 user LEDs will remain on and fast flashing).
- To choose 45 degree calibration press button "A". Only one LED will remain on indicating the setting as been saved.

This will set the calibration to an increased sensitivity (45 degrees) and will help improve any joystick slow turn issue. The Razer Onza will save this setting even if you turn off your console o unplug your controller. If you wish to reset the Onza to the default 90 degree setting, you must first unplug the Onza and then,
- While Pressing left and right remap buttons, plug your Razer Onza into the USB connecto of the Xbox. (4 user LEDs will remain on and fast flashing).
- Press button "Y" to choose 90 degree calibration, this is the default setting of the Razer Onza. Only one LED will remain on indicating the setting as been saved.

We suggest playing with your Razer Onza at both sensitivity settings to see what calibration you actually prefer while using the Razer Onza in game. Please note that at certain times when your Razer Onza is calibrated to the higher sensitivity you may experience a double movement actuation when navigating through menu options. This is due to the extreme sensitivity of the analog sticks but will not have a negative effect during gameplay. With the default calibration of the Onza, the sensitivity effects during menu navigation will not be present.

When I push my Razer Onza TE's analog stick to the outer edges, I am unable to push down and click. ¿Cómo puedo arreglar esto?
This effect can sometimes be noticed when the analog stick is adjusted toward its maximum tension. To help alleviate this effect you can loosen the tension on your joystick.
